Lung Cancer

Erlotinib SPC® is indicated for adults as following:​

* non-small cell lung cancer at an advanced stage as initial therapy or as therapy if the disease remains largely unchanged after initial chemotherapy, provided the cancer cells have specific EGFR mutations. ​

* It can also be prescribed if previous chemotherapy has not helped to stop the disease.​

* This medicine can also be prescribed in combination with another treatment called gemcitabine for pancreas cancer at a metastatic stage.​

Pemetrexed SPC® is used as following:​

• ​
• in combination with cisplatin, another anti-cancer medicine, as treatment for malignant pleural mesothelioma, a form of cancer that affects the lining of the lung, to patients who have not received prior chemotherapy. ​
• in combination with cisplatin for the initial treatment of patients with advanced stage of lung cancer. ​
• Lung cancer at an advanced stage if the disease has responded to treatment or it remains largely unchanged after initial chemotherapy. ​
• Advanced stage of lung cancer whose disease has progressed after other initial chemotherapy has been used.​
